Christmas Events

When such a great day of celebration starts approaching, many days of celebration take place in preparation for that great day. Here, I shall tell you about a few of the celebrations that have already taken place.

On December 5th, I had the opportunity to dress up as one of my childhood heroes: Tigger! This was for the Mill Christmas Party. It was so much fun! Children loved me so much. One child thought that I was truly Tigger and was convinced that I was his best friend. He pulled me around the whole building and was constantly asking me, "Do you need a nap?" "Are you hot?" "Are you thirsty?" "Are you tired?". Of course, I couldn't speak to him. I'm a girl! So I had to just follow him around until Aunt Dolly had the chance to save me from his control. She said that he picked my nose, because I had a fluff in it. How sweet! Haha!


Today I had the opportunity to perform at Scarborough Terrace with my homeschooling group. I played Jingle Bell Jam and recited Philippians 4:8.

"Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things."

There was this cute old man that sang along with every song we sang. Joy was overflowing from him. It was such a blessing to see what a reaction we got from so many people. I'm glad to be a part of it.

I actually remember going to the same assisted living home back when we lived here 10 years ago. I have so many memories of performances. Wow, it's great to be back.
